DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY

Deus Ex Limited operate a workplace free of impairment from drugs and alcohol. We intend to help provide a safe and drug-free work environment for our staff. With this goal in mind and because of the serious drug abuse problem in today’s society, the following policy applies to staff with the use of both recreational / medical drugs and alcohol.

ASSOCIATED RISK:

  • Staff becoming injured. Staff being injured assisting or protecting other who are in trouble.

BRIEF:

Deus Ex Limited operate a workplace free of impairment from drugs and alcohol. We intend to help provide a safe and drug-free work environment for our staff. With this goal in mind and because of the serious drug abuse problem in today’s society, the following policy applies to staff with the use of both recreational / medical drugs and alcohol.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that our staff have an enjoyable and productive working environment and members of the public are not hurt by preventing accidents or other dangerous incidents that may result from drug or alcohol use. This policy relates to staff of Deus Ex Limited.

Staff are prohibited from reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Those that turn up for work and show signs of impairment will be politely told they are unfit and will not allowed to participate in activities.

Members of staff who are taking a prescription drug are required to discuss with their GP any impairment that prevent them from working or driving and if necessary advise the Group Chairman of Deus Ex Limited before attending a clients premises.
